Roxio Game Capture - Product Setup, Settings Guide & Review

My review of the Roxio Game Capture system. With a brief look at a guide to settings, for those thinking of getting one and not quite sure. I realise the final output is not HD before anyone says anything, however it does upscale the image nicely, giving the best overall effect you can get for a sub £80 or $100 unit. Full credit goes to www.youtube.com (Nitrammn) for the loading screen animation, to find more great videos please visit and sub his channel! :) While your at it also please like and sub mine if you feel inclined :) SETTINGS: for capture:- Under 'SOURCE'/ OPTIONS / GENERAL' Input: 480P/576P/720P/1080i TV Standard: NTSC_M (this is down to your own set up though, your sellection may well be different, go through each untill you find the correct one for you, until the display look right in the capture window) Under 'SOURCE'/ OPTIONS / AUDIO INPUT' Device: Line (Roxio GAMECAP) Input: Should show as greyed out Then from the capture screen under SETTINGS select AVI (you can choose DivX if you wish, I much prefer AVI for versatility though). Leave the rest of the settings to default. EDIT AND SHARE SETTINGS: Creating a new production leave set to 'widescreen 16:9' Once you have your video clips in place and are ready to create the finalized video use the following... go to 'OUTPUT' in the toolbar and select 'EXPORT as' Save your production if its not already saved (in case of system crash) in the 'MAKE MOVIE' pop-up choose the following: Under 'PURPOSE' leave as 'ALL ...
